New Hampshire & The White Mountains

Living  in the "Live Free or Die" state (really, it's on the  license plates!)  was a dream come true for a couple of midwest  flatlanders. About a quarter of the state's terrain is occupied by the White Mountain National Forest, home to 48 4,000+ peaks just waiting to be conquered. Shortly after moving there, we started our quest.
